HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. The practitioner will assess the areas, mark up thread placement for optimal results.
2. A lidocaine anaesthetic is administered to the area/s, to reduce any discomfort.
3. A single needle point is made per area, to allow two blunt ended cannulas to be careful manuvored under the skin resulting in less bruising, swelling & making the treatment more comfortable.
4. With two threads per area, the skin is gently rolled onto the inserted threads, where they are tightened and lift the skin.
5. The dual threads are then tied together & carefully snipped, leaving a tiny knot which disappears into the skin, usually within a few days.
6. The body signals an inflammatory response, sending collagen to wrap around the threads, creating a natural ‘scaffold’ to replace the PDO COG threads, as they start to dissolve from three months.
